Bomb Threats Reported at Multiple Schools in Jalandhar, Security on Alert

Days after private schools in Amritsar received bomb threat messages, several schools in Jalandhar were also reported to have received similar threats, triggering security alerts across the city. According to initial information, the schools that received threat messages include Ivy World School (Rama Mandi), St. Joseph’s Convent School (Cantt Road), Apeejay School, DPS, and KMV.

As a precautionary step, some schools announced an early dispersal. A message sent to parents by St. Joseph’s Convent School stated that students would be sent home at 11:55 a.m. on 15 December, while assuring parents that the school premises had been thoroughly checked and no danger was found. School transport services continued as usual.

Sources confirmed that anti-sabotage teams and security officials reached the concerned schools to conduct detailed inspections. As of now, KMV, Ivy World School, and St. Joseph’s Convent School have been evacuated, while updates regarding the remaining schools are awaited.

Authorities have urged parents and the public to remain calm and avoid spreading rumours as investigations continue.
